Tuesday: Veggies Update
Think it rained all night and for a few hours this morning.
MrD took a package to the post office late morning and there was a heavy shower, eased off but the wind picked up!
Watched a little of the Eisteddfod in Tregaron and was thrilled to see a familiar face: Meinir Pierce Jones, winner of Daniel Owen Memorial Prize

I first met Meinir when I went to visit Nefyn

She was so welcoming and encouraging.
In February 2020 I joined a creative writing class at Llangefni library, Meinir was our tutor and we had such a lovely time - we hoped that another class would be organised but Covid scuppered our plans :-((
Late afternoon I went to check on the veggie seedlings which are still growing in their cells and still protected by their plastic storage containers: top photo is Kale “Scarlet” & Broccoli “Early Purple”, bottom photo: Red Cabbage & Broccoli “Mr Curtis’s 9 Star”. Everything doing ok considering the extremes of weather we’ve had. They all need transplanting into pots but will have to wait for dry weather!
Stay safe & healthy & happy everyone :-)
Nos da pawb / goodnight all xx
