River of Flowers

Tuesday: Autumn Flowers

Fine and dry all day, temperature around 15°C with a gentle breeze.

Bit of a Grand Tour for me today, starting in Llangefni at Homebargains then the most relaxing drive through Penmynydd where I was able to enjoy the beautiful scenery and see over to the mainland. “Relaxing” because for once there was no traffic behind me for the whole journey and I could go at my own speed :-))

Bit of a hold up at Menai Bridge - a very long stretch of road has been dug up across the whole width, all of the iron work for drains and services exposed but I managed to get to the Chinese restaurant in time for lunch with The Tuesday Gang … six of us today and we had a very pleasant time together. I’d remembered to take homemade Rhubarb and Stem Ginger jam to share with everyone … especially Eileen x

Popped over to Waitrose for a few more groceries  - we are well stocked for a while now!

The Montbretia has been in flower for a few days, my Mum used to say it was beginning of Autumn when it appeared, the seasons are very confused this year :-(

Happy Birthday to 2 of the men of our family - hope you had a good day :-))

Nos da pawb / goodnight all xx
