the big freeze?!

up at 6am and out by 6.30am, off for a wander. beautiful blue sky, a perfect morning, and a perfect start to it with a walk to the wood and back. back home, and then breakfast and work.

got a doctors appointment this morning, am finally facing a problem i've had for a few years HEAD on! verrucas!!! oh, i've tried everything, bazooka, freezing, nail varnish, and even wrapping banana skins around my feet at night....still they won't go! so, docs it was.

really worked myself up about it, and with 5 (6 as Doc discovered another tiny one!), i was prepared for the pain. but no pain and no gain! She froze them all twice, but it might be a long job, got another appointment in 2 weeks! (any rememdies you may have, please let me know!)

Back home, and back to work. nice and cool in the kitchen working, whilst Pete was in and out all day in the shade and in the sun.

finished at 5, and then managed to mow the lawn before cooking tea..steak and salad. then as i finally get to sit outside it clouds over a little... am not complaining though!
