365.. woohoo!

Well, what a milestone,
who'd have thunk it? My daily
photos giving joy!

So here we are!  One whole year :-)  I really didn't expect to stick at it.. but it's definitely taken a hold of me!  I can't always engage with others in the community, as life here is so full and busy but I so love the site and the concept of photo journaling, it's such a powerful way to capture the days.  Thanks for those who dip in, it's always appreciated and I plan to stick around for the foreseeable.  And of course big thanks to the Blip crew for keeping everything going, it's such a lovely place to be :-)
For today, you have a view of Derwent water from Castlehead.  It said on the website it was "splendid views for minimum effort".. well, that was not accurate!  Splendid views.. yes.  But minimal effort when you have a poorly coordinated, giant 14 year old with you.. no!  I was so worried he would trip and fall but Mr KCNQ2Haiku kept everything on track and we made it to the top to appreciate the views.  In the afternoon we had a trip to Castlerigg Stone Circle which I do love.  I'm a sucker for a standing stone.  I've gone wild with the 'extras' today since it's 365 and I wanted everyone to have their moment!  You have Ben on top of Castlehead; Casterigg in all its glory; Castlerigg with a Ben and then Mr KCNQ2Hiaku and Leo waiting for me to be done!
