Monday: Courgette and Chicory
The rain has stopped … thank goodness! I was up at 6am to let the chickens out, they were glad it wasn’t raining too!
A couple of hours this morning on my family tree … until the mouse needed charging. MrD had taken his van to a garage near Llangefni and put his electric bike in the back of the van and rode the bike home.
I did a few little gardening jobs: cut some of the dead buddleia flowers near the back wall, started cutting back lemon balm, pink comfrey and some of the tall straight hazel branches growing from rootstock of twisted hazel - they’re going to be useful for supporting runner beans and other climbers :-)
One of the courgette is almost ready for cutting - maybe tomorrow, if I remember! There are a couple more small ones on the plant too!
Nos da pawb / goodnight all xx
