The Cricket

A great day out at the cricket at Old Trafford. This was our third attempt at getting here - first 2 matches being casualties of covid restrictions.
Saw Australia finishes their first innings and then England treat us to a barrel full of runs. All in glorious sunshine.
The crowd loved the performance - from a chatty happy start, the afternoon got a bit louder and naughty with the sunshine and booze taking its toll. It was generally all good humoured with some good banter.
After the match we went out for dinner but could quite easily have fallen asleep in our plates. A very satisfying day with England in a strong position - we will all be watching the weather this weekend.
