First cut

Mr KT chose the hottest part of the day to cut the lawn. It’s been left wild since the end of April and has been lovely. I’m not sure how it will be now - rather brown and very little grass!
It’s the last day of my in-laws’ visit - they will be off down home to Devon on the train tomorrow. It’s been a funny old visit for them - first time since 2019. It’s been too hot to do much, and I’ve had the lurgy. They seem happy to have just spent time here - easily pleased.
We had dinner out in the garden again to catch the last of the evening sun. And we had wild raspberries from the field for pudding. Such a treat.
