Wimberry picking

Had a very Shropshire day today. Visited the old lead mines at Snailbeach (great name! Origins of this ‘beach’ from a word meaning stream valley - apparently). And a walk up over the Stiperstones. Stopped to pick wimberries from the huge abundance on the hillside. We scoffed quite a few too - stained fingers and lips as a result.
And finally a late pub lunch with local beer.
