Going strong

Really impressive flower. It keeps putting out strong new ones.
And it is gladioli season at my house. They are starting to bloom. It is time to start propping them up so they don’t fall over. 

The number of Russian deserters continues to rise. This is both men who haven’t been drafted and apparently soldiers running away with their guns. 

Remember the CIA pitch to Russians to become agents? Richard Moore, head of Britain's secret intelligence service, invited Russians to come to MI6. 


The news is all over the place in terms of how well Ukraine is doing. They’re doing well, they’re not doing well, they need to do better, making it painfully obvious that the number one objective is eyeballs. Moore said that Ukraine has taken back more ground in the past month than the Russians took in a year and pointed out a key difference in approach. Russia is throwing men to the slaughter and Ukraine is trying to keep their soldiers alive. 


Iran’s leaders are having internal disagreements about providing Russia with drones.
