Monday: Globe Artichokes & Courgettes

Woke up at 5:30 this morning and heard the cockerel “singing” so popped  over the road to let the chickens out into the covered run, it was raining lightly but by the time I’d got back home there was a very heavy downpour :-((

I went back to bed for a short nap then got up at usual time for breakfast - rain had cleared and it was dry for the rest of the day.

Popped over a few times to check on the chickens (and the rabbit!) they were very quiet all day. Took a few kale leaves over for the chickens this afternoon, something different for them.
