Sunday: Hot & Windy

Temperature around 30°C for most of the day with a howling gale of hot wind - very unpleasant, I ventured outdoors a few times to water pots but just found it so uncomfortable …
Spent the day indoors, all the windows open and curtains closed - watched some TV and did some reading - this was a book I bought at Asda, loved the cover design - reminded me of William Morris designs, story’s interesting too!
Ordered Fish and Chips for tea which MrD went to pick up … too hot for cooking :-((
