The Dick Vet

A rather startling array of skulls and bones adorn the walls of the new pub in the premises of the old Dick Vet at Summerhall. Promising new place to visit and a menu that looks quite intersting too.

Went to Summerhall to see Pyramidion, who played 2 songs before being taken off, much to mine, Gav and Frasers chargrin. £7 and we only wanted to see the one support act so we had hoped for more. The venue itself had serious sound issues, I will think twice before coming back to see any more acts perform here.

In a further whirlwind development I got paid the money in advance as promised, so we are financially well and truly afloat again. I now have 2 jobs over the next 2 months but it will be a welcome distraction, though all the side projects I've been undertaking to create a better online presence for myself will have to go on hold.
