Hoverfly on Crocosmia

It would be wonderful if my garden safaris could discover something other than bees, hoverflies and the occasional white butterfly, but I expect I should be grateful for the abundance of pollinators of any sort.

Today’s offering is another tiny hoverfly, perched on the stamen of a tiny Crocosmia flower - so ideal for Tiny Tuesday.

Still not getting out and about, but thankfully today there are signs of feeling better, emerging from the awful fog of recent days into some semblance of normality. I’m just crossing my fingers that this will continue, and thank you so much for your thoughts, prayers and good wishes over recent days.
