Glass

Much of the day is spent with G’s mum. On Monday she starts her four week ‘trial period’ in her residential home - though she’s already decided the move will be permanent! For now, it’s a case of going through her wardrobe and picking out the clothes she’ll need - all of which need name tabs on for laundry purposes! Fortunately, my SiL has ordered some which make the job quite easy! 


It’s a slow process, but by the end we’ve got a suitcase packed. G will return on Sunday for any final additions. We’re all quite amazed at just how quickly we have managed to turn things around, and what looked like a very fraught process has turned out to be far easier than any of us could have hoped. Mair is convinced she will be happy in her new home - and we hope this is the case - but the next few weeks will tell. 

G has a concert tonight - I don’t go but will attend the ‘repeat’ on Saturday. It all goes well, though there is much amusement as there are two Korean ladies in the audience who spend much of the concert photographing G. Even more hilarity ensues at the end when they rush forward wanting him to sign their programmes and have photographs taken with him! There’s a shot of this in extras! 

My main today’s a woven glass dish - something that has featured previously in blips. Here I’ve added some textures in Distressed FX. There are repeated ‘selfies’ here as well!
