Hotel Garden

After breakfast we had a lovely walk in some of the hotel grounds and we particularly liked this enclosed garden that is beautifully kept.
Not a bad place to celebrate our 48th wedding anniversary and just a little different from the hotel we visited this day in Grantown on Spey in 1975 ! 

Typical Scottish weather - sunshine and torrential thundery downpours in equal measure. We visited Crieff and Stirling neither town too far away.

We stopped off at the golf courses that Gleneagles is so well known for and I watched a group of golfers teeing off at the Kings course. ( extra) It is one of 4 courses here and set In beautiful countryside. In the good old days when pharmaceutical companies and veterinary wholesalers had money for  corporate entertainment I was fortunate to play this course several times and not very well I seem to recall. 

Back home tomorrow to a more normal life !
