Very large invitation!

We arrived this afternoon at one of Scotland’s famous hotels for a couple of nights - 48 years tomorrow since we tied the knot but who’s counting! 

Anyway I spied this large framed invitation to the opening of the Forth Bridge in 1890 hanging in the corridor, something I have never seen before. I am not sure what the connection is with Gleneagles however.
