Seat with a view

We had a last walk round the beautiful grounds of Gleneagles this morning before heading home. It was good to see the lines of recently planted trees in an estate with so many fabulous mature trees and I loved where they had placed this seat.

The gardeners were being kept busy cutting all the grass with their ride on mowers , something they wouldn’t have had when the hotel opened 99 years ago !  Lovely straight lines there too.
