Upside Down

I thought I’d shake things up by posting an upside down swamp milkweed instead of an upside down bee :) • Love the wing detail • Most of the milkweed plants are in bloom and attracting lots of different kinds of bees, but unfortunately we have yet to see a monarch butterfly. It’s concerning but there’s still time. We also haven’t seen any golden digger wasps which typically swarm the milkweed in July and August. It’s also overcast and drizzly again with light showers mixed in. To date it’s been an odd summer. Perhaps it’s all interconnected • MrsP is doing paperwork while I’ve been busy mopping floors and stairs. Anything is better than paperwork :)) • Fingers crossed for a healthy and peaceful week! And some sun!
