Bath Carnival

After such a dull day yesterday, I woke up in pretty good state. I guess I like the un-drugged me more... I think I'm toward the end of this nasty shingles nonsense. Hopefully, anyway...

So, feeling a bit livelier and ready for fun, Janet and I met up with Sheol and Cathy to check out the Bath Carnival. It rained, but as you might see from the main pic and the extras, there was plenty of dry too.

I think the thing I take away from this the most is the energy of the carnival. We watched these men, women and children march, dance, samba (and in one case, sleep!) for a good couple of hours, and they just kept on going.

I took far too many pictures of glittery ladies, but that's allowed isn't it?
