It's a cool, windy, grey day. Again. Summer? Well that was the other day...

As it happens, this is the good bit of the day... the torrential rain is forecast for later tonight. Ah, me.

I know, some bees sleep in flowers. Delightful. It rather looks like this bee has got a firm grip on the lavender, so that his slumber isn't adversely impacted by the weather. I don't know... does it look like he's gobbling the floret? I did think the bee was dead, and took a few shots anyway. Then, as I looked to another insect on another plant, he lifted off and away...

Bet his breath smelled lovely...
