Friday at LBQ

My Dear Princess and Dear Fellow,

My unsettled mood continued today. I went into work though. I need routine I think, to ground me. 

As you may remember, I'm trying to bring Fridays back. However, it appears I'm in the minority. The office was EMP-TY.

So it was a pretty quiet day. I made some good progress on stuff and things. But mainly I waited for 4pm so I could meet up with Tiger, Mo, Manda and Jefe at LBQ. 

Beers, fries and chat was had. And honestly it was just what I needed. They always lift my spirits. Also Jefe found an ancient pack of Trivial Pursuit cards* and I amazed everyone by getting a sports question right**.

For us, we broke up surprisingly early. I was home in Paraparaumu by 8.30. But it was nice to come home to Caro and the cats. 

I just remembered. Back at the pub I was prompted by another Trivial Pursuit question to think about one of my favourite films. "I NEED to show you The Third Man!" I exclaimed.

"You keep it in your pants," responded Tiger. 

"Is THAT what you're calling it these days?" added Manda.

These people. They help to keep me sane. I think.
