Salad Days

It was another sun kissed day in Stromness after a rainy start. We were an exclusive foursome that caught a middling tide this morning, but fun with the waves of the Hamnavoe and Graemsay in attendance.
It was also 20° in the afternoon and almost too hot to sit in the garden …..almost, but I did it anyway with one of the Selkies before meeting up with the proprietors of the Cheeky Monkey Taxi Service for a meal at Adam’s place- another meal out-enough meals out to last me until next year.

In the extra, this is the bedraggled pose of someone unused to the high life of riding in a classic Mercedes- Benz. The soft top potential of this car was not one in the range of the Cheeky Monkey Taxi Service. Oh no , this was the vehicle offering me a lift home from the slip this morning. A long haired, windswept look with a beautiful coat and high heels might have done it justice, not the wet hair, Dry Robe and beach sandals straight from the sea look that I produced.
