(186) Brass Castle

We visited the taproom at the Brass Castle brewery in Malton today. Previously I've only managed a half pint because of driving duties but this time we're staying overnight in the town so I'm free to sample whatever takes my fancy. In this case, it's Quench pale ale, an IPA that I just caught the last of (that's a half pint, on the house) and for Mrs Rockit it's a Bad Kitty vanilla porter. We also tried the 'Zest for Life' which is a 6.5% chocolate orange stout which was very good. The Brass Castle logo is a rotational ambigram i.e. looks the same when viewed upside down.
