Back to Inverness

Managed to get up and organised to leave by just after 10.30. A quiet enough drive although there did seem to be a lot of drivers in no particular hurry so there were a few long convoys!

Made it to Inverness around 1.30 and got sorted out quite quickly. A bite of lunch and we headed over the Kessock bridge to the Black Isle brewery to buy some glasses and pick up some beer for Mr PHL. Purchases made we drove to Culloden woods to let Phin have a run around. It was a very pleasant way to spend an hour. I spent some of my teenage years living 10 minutes from the woods so it was nice to go back again.

Back to the van to get changed and we headed out to meet my brother and his partner for dinner. A nice meal and a couple of drinks later we went back to their house for a while but didn’t stay too long as my brother had an early game of golf planned.
