Home again

Treated ourselves to a bacon sarnie before we packed up and headed for home. Weather was mixed again and in the space of a few miles we had 4 different seasons!

Blipped what we always called ‘the German’s head’ en route to Carrbridge. It was always a landmark for us to see on trips south as children.

Stopped at Bruar again at lunchtime and it took a wee bit of manoeuvring to find a space to park in with several instances of reversing in tight spaces. Mr PHL did a n amazing job. I’d have been dreadful.

After a bite of lunch we managed to get back on the road without too much hassle and made it home just before 3.

A bit of van emptying and putting things away necessitated reorganisation of some kitchen cupboards to make things fit. Managed to get one load of washing on the line just before a huge downpour so I figured I’d just leave them hanging overnight.

Couldn’t face cooking so we had lamb kebabs from the chippie and very nice they were too.

After a nice bath I headed for an early night.

Backblipped on Monday for Sunday.
