Shrine saved for Blackpool

I saw this for the first time yesterday as I went for my appointment at the hospital and thought it was blipworthy.

Today has been a day of doing lots of "bitty" jobs.

My parents, brother and sister called in to see us. I say "called in" but it was more a case of breaking a journey for them on a trip that may well be repeated a few times.

After they left I took full advantage of the sunshine and did a 26 mile bike ride. I'm getting used to the new bike now and very much enjoy riding it.

Mrsc48 and I will be riding Manchester to Blackpool together in July so I need to train. She has already ridden Coast to Coast and is used to 60 mile rides.

Thank you to Richard for linking my journal. He added a hilarious link yesterday that will keep me amused greatly as I go through the medical tests next week.

2013 is certainly as interesting and varied as 2012.
