Happy 1st day of July! I'll be retiring on the last day of July - not from teaching, that's just a one-class gig over the summer - but from my executive director job. It's time. I'll continue to volunteer, but my time will be my own. 

Another gorgeous day! I went for a walk at the Arboretum this morning and then my son asked if he could bring the kids by for a visit. So we had lunch and then got into the pool of course! 

The main is Darlingtonia, a carnivorous plant that's growing in my courtyard in a bowl of water...replicating the bog that it's native to here in the wilds of western Oregon. The extra is my first cherry tomato...not quite ripe!
