Shetland Pride 2023

First day of the school holidays, and it's been windy, and rained all day, really heavy at times.  Not a good start for the bairns.

Up early, and headed into Lerwick after breakfast for shopping, and a few other bits.  Nipped down to mam's, only dad home, he made a cuppa.  With a really wet afternoon, I got on with cleaning the house.  A quieter night working in the shop.  I've hurt my foot, and the long shift standing hasn't done it any help.  Foot up now.

After last year's Shetland Pride being a huge success, they've held another one this year.  Sadly the weather wasn't on their side, but still a good turnout for the parade and various events and stalls.  A good crowd marching through the street, including my pal Louise Mouat in the foreground waving her flag.  Taken along Da Street (Commercial Street), Lerwick.
