Coloured houses

Bristol is known for its streets of brightly coloured houses here and there.  There are some in Totterdown, my neighbourhood.  But my actual street is mostly a bit dull, I have to be honest.  My house is lavender colour which is pretty, I think.  There’s a smattering of greens and blues. But mostly they’re either original brick, or magnolia render.  But my neighbours opposite have put in a good effort, I think. Plus I like the rose too, 
I spent the morning in a cafe with a friend of my friend Lynne, who I met at her funeral.  It was great to talk about her, with someone who’d known her even longer than me.  We both found it really helpful.
