At the doctors

I’m not really quite better from a recent infection. I rang the practice at 10am and was offered an appointment at 11.45 today! I was amazed, you hear such awful things about access to GPs. It seems tests will be required, but today just blood was taken. 
There are beds of shrubs all around, including these blackberries - and rather excitingly, some berries are forming. I think other patients rather thought I was a batty old thing standing on the path taking photos of the hedge:-)
Not very energetic in the afternoon, so I did some bulk cooking for the freezer - made fish cakes, lentil burgers and pasta sauce, more than 20 meals in all. Saves cooking every evening. And I enjoyed listening to the Ashes on the radio.
