Can You See Me?

Here’s our snorty dear deer trying to remain incognito this morning. She had been eating weeds along the edge of the tree line when she must have heard me, or picked up my scent. My camera was in position when she turned to look in my direction. Per usual she let out a full nostril snort before turning towards the woods and leaping quickly away. I read that both genders snort but males tend to snort more often • We made quick trips to the bank and post office, then picked up a few groceries. By the looks of the checkout lines, there are lots of cookouts happening this weekend. Plus, the July 4th holiday is coming up on Tuesday, rain or shine :) • Happy Friday, and Happy Weekend!
