A Day In The Life

Sun!

We planted Black-eyed Susans five years ago and have never seen one flower, thanks to our dear deer. Where did these lovelies come from? I purposely haven’t mowed the banking that stretches across our backyard this season. Along with mostly 3 foot tall grass is a smattering of daisies, purple clover, queen anne’s lace and these beauties. No doubt there’s more surprises in store • Today marks the second morning I’ve found a single dear deer roaming the property randomly sampling Mother Nature’s weeds and our plants. Both times I’ve made a quiet appearance to move her along. I’ve never heard a dear deer snort so much. She clearly does not like me interrupting her explorations. I’ll try to get a photo tomorrow • Cloudy all morning but the sun is out and proud this afternoon! YeeHaw! It will bring thunderstorms later but who cares :) • Peace & Love
