Magnesi-Bum

My Dear Princess,

Caro put Jam on the floor last night and Crash immediately found a new friend. Apparently he spent some time rolling about and playing with the plushy kitten.

It is very cute.

In other news, I went to see an osteopath. As you know I'm a big fan of osteopaths as being the only people who can fix me unlike physios who give you pointless exercises or chiropractors who charge you $75 to crunch your back once a month for the rest of your life.

This time it's my neck. It's been stiff ever since I got back from the UK. It's a little better now than at the weekend but I can feel it, pulling back there.

The osteo was very nice. She is Kiwi/Australian and kept me chatting while she HURT ME WITH HER KNUCKLES.

I thought it was just one side of my neck. But no. She managed to find hurty spots on the other side too. She told me that I was to come back and see her again next week but in the meantime I'm to take magnesium to help me sleep.

"Oh I already take that," I offered. "Caro makes me."

"How much do you take?" she asked.

"Uh. I dunno. About a spoonful," I guessed.

"Well if you take too much it can give you diarrhoea," she warned.

"Oh." I said.

"That would explain a few things," I added.

It's true. Lately I've had a bad case of what I am now choosing to call "magnesi-bum". And have been a bit afraid to fart.

So I'm glad to have that sorted out. I'll focus on the neck part next.

S.
