Picture Perfect

My Dear Princess,

Caro came into town today to visit Mr. Miyagi have her lashes done.

Apparently the fluffy little fellow comes prancing over when he sees her. Waiting for pats. 

Afterward Caro met me for lunch and we had a nice time together. It was sort of like a date! I must do this sort of thing more often. 

I also had a date with Briar mind you. Today we launched "Movie Club" in which I project a movie on the wall of a meeting room on a Friday when no-one is here to complain.

Today's movie was "Uncharted" on account of:

- Briar hasn't seen it
- Briar fancies Tom Holland

So not a great choice, but she enjoyed herself and it was a good trial run. I'm hoping our numbers will grow as word gets about and we're talking about "Meet The Parents" as our next film in two weeks' time. 

"I didn't think it would be happening," said Jeff, who couldn't make it. And I understand why. Everyone thinks my life stopped this week. 

But I won't let it. Dad wouldn't want me to. He'd want me to enjoy fluffy doggies and beautiful wives and yes, even predictable Tom Holland movies. 

There's a place for all these things.
