Trickle Treat

A few weeks ago we bought a nice water feature from the local garden centre. Only when we got it home did we realise there were  no instructions on how to set it up (It was not as simple as you might imagine) and there were parts missing.

So, after an adult conversation with said garden centre we eventually received said missing parts but still await the instructions. 

Today we grasped the bull by the nettles and set it up ourselves. And we love it. 

It is a very basic pleasure to sit on the lawn under the shade of a brolly, sipping tea and listening to the sound of someone piddling into a jug. 

This is retirement at its very best
