Another ‘Last’
We had an early walk down to the retail park to buy a replacement make-up mirror to the one that shattered last week.
The rain arrived for a few hours - good for the grass and garden I say! The sun arrived around 2 and I planted some shrubs .
The main event today was Cameron’s very last prizegiving in the concert hall. I had some emotions around this just cos it’s another end of an era. He once again received one of the Major Prizes - this year it’s the Dr Andrew Thomson Award for General Excellence, jointly with another pupil, Sophie.
We had a photoshoot outside the concert hall along with some others.
Onward now to Edinburgh Uni for his Astrophysics- he went to see Dr Brian Cox do a show two years ago and was inspired to follow . Good luck Cameron. You are a hard worker, focussed and committed to whatever you put your mind to and I wish you all the very best for the next chapter of your life. One proud Nana!
