ANOTHER DAY OUT

And another 60th celebration. This time it was my quaranteenies friends. Most of them Mums at the school gate friends and linked to the church.
We went to Coal Drop Yard…wow what a fascinating place. A few minutes walk from St Pancreas station. Interesting shops and eateries by the Regent canal. There were beanbags by the canal and loads of water fountains the children were playing in.
The girls had booked me an ICE CREAM afternoon tea…I do love ice cream!!! It was delicious. It was accompanied by a glass of bubbly, a cup of tea and lots of laughter.
We then had a walk along the canal to Camden. In reality it was far too hot to be walking! We stopped for a drink at The Hawley Arms where Amy Winehouse used to sing.
We eventually got home at nearly 8 o’clock. A long afternoon tea session :)))
