CROATIA-DAY 3

After another lovely breakfast we had a morning by the pool. 2 of our group are early risers and happily collect our towels sort the sun-beds out.
#it was great to sit watching the forever changing scenery as yacht and speed boats pass.
#we then took a taxi into Pula; the main centre. This is the arena. An impressive place for gladiators etc. unfortunately they were setting up the main area for a music band so we didn’t get the chance to full appreciate this structure.

#and a visit to the underground exhibition. We hoped would be cold but was hot and sticky too. The area had been ruled as 5/21/22

#After a quick refreshment break…we then had a stroll around the old town.
#a bit of shopping….well everyone bought something!
#then a meal out in town at a nice restaurant in the little streets.
# when we got back we took “our bar” down to the gardens for an evening of chatting and laughter. Playing which famous person would you invite to a dinner party…dead or alive!!!

We had Shakespeare, Charles 2nd, Victoria Wood……
