DAY OUT

First thing met a friend from school to walk the dog…problems with the parking app drove me bonkers. Then to breakfast with O as he’d kindly offered as he knew The Rev was away. In reality I didn’t have the time but I just thought it was so kind, I didn’t want to say no.
#This is my friend H who was diagnosed with bowel cancer 2 weeks ago. Her treatment starts in July and it’s going to be gruelling. So I challenged her (She said last week she was jealous of the challenges The Rev and I set and then do!!) to see how many modes of transport we could use in London on our free over 60 travel cards.
We got the train, DLR, boat, underground and another train!!! We did have to pay a reduced rate for the boat from Greenwich to Battersea (£6!!)
We had a lovely day…lots to chat about and worries to share. I hope it gave her a boost.
