Hortensias, parc Sainte-Périne

Temperatures quickly climbed above 30C today and it was sweltering. I went to the market at le point du jour early and picked up some fish, cherries and figs. On the way, I walked through parc Sainte-Périne and snapped this blip in a shady spot. My cousin's daughter and her friends left in the early afternoon, just making their train in the nick of time. John and I went out for dinner tonight to the Auberge du Mouton Blanc - quite tasty and fun. Racine and Boileau ate there, according to the marketing. This evening there are some great breezes blowing through the apartment and we can feel the temperature dropping. Ahh.
