Pretty Pink Peonies

I went out and cut a bunch with the anticipation of heavy rain which we had but this morning, the sun is shining for a brief while.  It looks like rain all week...sigh.  Peonies don't like heavy and constant rain.  The extra shows more of them in the terrace garden.  My preparations for my early August trip to Scotland begin tomorrow with getting the latest bi-variant Covid shot.  Let the anticipation begin!  Gift#175: the anticipation of returning to Scotland soon.
