Silly me!
How to make curly rhubarb without even trying.
1. Harvest your garden rhubarb.
2. Stick it in a bowl of water to wash it.
3. Become distracted. (There are many methods, but family being around is perfect.)
4. Return to forgotten rhubarb some hours later and observe how it looks as if it had had a perm.
5. Consider not wandering off another time.
It wasn't deliberate, but it does make a good Silly Saturday blip, in fond memory of admirer, who died three years ago this month.
Lunch out today with the whole family, the nearest date everyone could get together to our daughter's special birthday next week. We ended up in the garden at ours afterwards. The children adored Master Bug Pugglesworth. He's in my Extras, checking the garden is all in order.
