Evening Gold

Very little progress made in the garden - mostly spent time just soaking new plants (and recently moved ones) to keep them alive until we get the forecast rain. All the pots were given a drenching in the evening before I tidied and cleared everything into the greenhouse. I resolved to take lots of cuttings as soon as possible as my greenhouse is about to be ‘powered up’ so I can keep it heated over winter. Just caught this callibrachoa and lotus flower in the sunset. In the background is a Stipa gigantea which glows like gold when the sun is just behind it.
