Mirror, mirror on the wall!!

The early morning job was to be the feature of day, but R & S accompanied by Olive arrived to celebrate Father’s Day. S always comes with a boot full of tools ready to do some jobs.

The top of the list was hanging this mirror. It’s fairly hefty so needed a secure fixture. The mirror belonged to my parents and was my mum’s pride and joy, it has been in my possession for about 30 years. I hadn’t realised that when it was up, this would be the view when you walk through the door. 

We can now work on hanging the lighter weight pictures. 

The afternoon walk has been postponed, possibly cancelled due to the lashing rain and thunderstorm. Fingers crossed that it eases off and we can have a trip round the block before bedtime.
