Vennel

Today had a feel of good weather coming to an end. The atmosphere was close, with thin, high hazy cloud that threatened to build up into thunder-clouds. I gave Django a long walk, but avoided the Estate for once. Coming back through the very centre town, I saw this pretty area of wild flowers beside a vennel. Back home, after a busy, hot week without a good night's sleep, I was exhausted, so I needed an hour's deep sleep before I could do anything. I've spent the rest of the day catching up with washing, doing some grocery shopping and trying to get my diary up-to-date.
