Made a big decision re the OU work and sent off an e-letter. A feeling of relief.....

More allotmenteering - surrounded by loud buzzing as I watered up by the poppies and found about six bees in amongst them, thoroughly checking out each bloom. Feeding, watering, weeding, thinning.....

Later went round to Mel's where we sat out in the sun drinking some wine and admiring her newly weeded path. We were entertained by the sound of the Proclaimers sound-checking for tomorrow wafting up on the breeze. Then we went round to Bijou, the little bistro on the corner of the Links which I must have passed by a thousand times and never been in to. Excellent food!
