Reflective fins of the Daubenhorn …
… above the Gemmi Pass where TonyG did some high altitude botanic wandering today. The extra is the opposite side of this big puddle with the snow melting into it, with the Wildstrubel reflected. It was very windy and cold up there as there is still lots of snow (2nd extra … looks like there are icebergs up there!). A great day out even though the bearded vulture did not fly past.
Thanks for your generosity towards yesterday’s hummingbird hawk moth, it was lovely to welcome them back.
