Low Down Bouquetin

There is still far too much snow on the higher slopes (extra) of Pic Chaussy which is probably the reason why we saw so many females and two beautiful males by the 3 lakes. What a treat to see them. We got up and down to the summit (view of Mont Blanc from the top in extra) in record time as the snow was good and it was fun to glissade (slide on your feet) down again.

At home Preston had been crying to go outside almost all day driving poor David to distraction. He’s not allowed out till at least Thursday. So I dug out his kitten harness and lead and we went into the garden. What a happy cat, he was calm and just sat in some of his usual places not attempting to go on walkabout. I trailed around after him and eventually he had had enough so led me back indoors! Yes, progress!
