The bees are buzzing.

Another beautiful summer’s day, and the bees are buzzing.

We went early to Birstall market for fish.
This time sea trout, smoked haddock, and smoked mackerel.
Then after breakfast it was the usual visit to the farm shop. This dry sunny weather has been good for the farmers who have managed to cut and dry the hay.
After lunch I made some more lemonade which will be ready tomorrow. So refreshing in this hot weather. It doesn’t last long.
This afternoon I have enjoyed sitting in the garden with a book.

Another lovely evening.
It sounds as if there may be some rain on the way this weekend. The garden could do with some, but hope it doesn’t spoil your weekend.
