Alf.

A sad day. Another of our dear friends passed away this morning.
He was diagnosed only a few months ago with stomach cancer and went downhill very quickly. He died peacefully at home.
So many happy memories going back to the early 1960’s.
We opened a bottle of rosé and sat out in the garden reminiscing.
RIP Alf. You made us laugh so often.

The top photo was taken on Christmas Eve 1965 , when we were about to set off to a dinner dance at the Majestic Hotel in Harrogate.
